Talk has begun of our next reunion. An email was sent to our current list, and several were returned as unkown address. A plea was posted on Facebook for classmates to send us their current emails. Also a Poll was placed on the Main Page of this site, so you may vote for the next reunion

When we first started planning for our 40 year reunion, one of the things that was done was to create a bank account for collecting donations and paying for necessities. Since the reunion, the account has been used for donations that go toward keeping the Website up and running.
The bank where we have our Class account began charging a fee last year if there was no activity. To avoid the charge, I have been trying to go by and withdraw $5 and then deposit it right back.
The bank has now decided to charge a monthly fee for an account not having a minimum balance of $2500, plus $3 a month for the statement. With these changes, I intend to close out the account, which has a balance of $258.
I will keep this money in a secure location, and have it available for the next reunion, or whatever the Class decides to use it for. The Web site is paid up for 3 years, so we wont need the money for that, at this time.

The Reunion was a Huge success. Thanks to everyone who attended. I am going to try and make this a "Home Site" for the Class of 72. Continue to spread the word of this site, so that we can continue to grow, and keep up with what has happened to all our classmates.

October 23rd update. The donation page and ticket page will be shut down due to the time it takes to get the money transferred. We will accept payment at the door. Also, the greens at the CC have been reseeded and will not be mown before Saturday. The decision to play or not will be made Saturday morning.

We have enough interest in Shangri-la to have a guided tour. Our tour starts at 9:00am on Saturday. Tour price is $5 per person, to be paid directly to Shangri-La at the time of the tour. The tour will take approximately 2 hours.

Time is running out for the special rate and guranteed rooms at the Hampton. the 26th is the last day to get the discount. After that they will not hold the block of rooms for us. We would like all RSVP's by September 30th so food, seating, decorations etc can be made. We also need your "ticket" money ASAP in order to pay for those items. Wow ! Time is drawing near, less than 2 months to go.
As of today, 96 classmates are on our distribution lists, and 80 have confirmed their addresses with us
We still need information for many of our classmates. (the list is on the website). Help us spread the word!
We are pleased with response from our fellow 71 and 73 classmates as well, we have several RSVP's from you.
We are going to need final numbers by the end of this month (September) in order to plan food, seating, decorations and such.
If you have not RSVP'd yet, please do. if your plans are not final, but you think you may be attending, you can select "not sure"
on the RSVP form on the Website, that will help as well
We want to also let ya'll know that the LCM classes of 70-75 are having their reunion the same weekend. We have extended an invitation to them to join us on Tthe Drag" for lunch on Saturday.. Many of us have freinds that went to LCM, so this should be a great way to re-connect with them too.

Greetings from the Lutcher Stark Class of 1972. As it turns out, we are sponsoring a 40th Reunion, (including 71-73) the same weekend as the 70-75 LCM Reunion this October. One of our events is having lunch on “The Drag.” Most of us remember the fun times we had circling MacArthur drive on Friday and Saturday nights, parking at various places to watch the races, and just a place to hang out with friends. The idea is to go get a lunch from your favorite place (Sorry, Burger King, Ames, Zacks are gone) and meet at the old Sears parking lot to eat, and once again hang out with friends. We would like to extend an invitation to our fellow 70’s classes from LCM, to join us. There is not a scheduled time, but I suspect we would start gathering around 11:30 or so, and stay as long as people are there. Sonic is still there (with a drive thru now!), Subway, Papa Johns Pizza, Whataburger, Dairy Queen, and of course Der Weinerschitzel. So grab a lunch and come join the party !
